How Licensing Is Scoped

Priced by permission,
not by audience

A license is not metered by how many people see the work. You're charged for the scope of permission — the categories of use you're entitled to. Scope is defined by three levers.

Lever 01
Media
Where the work may appear — organic social, owned channels, paid media, print, out-of-home, third-party OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia), and brand / portfolio reuse.
Lever 02
Term
How long the work may be used — 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, or perpetual. Each tier carries its own term; renewal is available after expiry.
Lever 03
Exclusivity
Whether the Studio may license comparable frames of the same property to other parties. Per-property exclusivity is available as an add-on.

Each tier simply unlocks a broader set of places the work can live — so you only pay for what you'll actually use, and upgrading is quick and easy whenever you're ready to do more.

Good to know: the free Social license covers organic posting — post and share as much as you like. When you're ready to put paid spend behind the work, the Full Campaign tier opens that up across every platform.

The Full Buyout

A full buyout grants unlimited usage across all channels — owned, paid, print, and out-of-home — in perpetuity. It's the cleanest structure for properties running large, long-horizon campaigns or planning indefinite reuse. Quoted per project, and may be added at any time after delivery. Many clients begin with Tier 1 and upgrade once a campaign is funded.

Video is simply double the matching photo tier. Aerial / drone can be added to any video package — subject to weather and location, which we'll confirm together before the shoot.

A Typical Engagement

A 25-photo package ($1,000) + a Website & Owned license ($3,500) = $4,500 total — with organic social use included free. Want it in motion too? Add the matching 25-clip video for $2,000. As your marketing grows, upgrade the license anytime; nothing to redo.

The Fine Print, Made Clear

How we work together

The protections that keep every engagement clean — summarized here, and set out in full in the agreement provided with your Statement of Work.

Travel & Extras
Local shoots have no travel cost. For anything beyond 50 miles, travel and lodging are simply passed through at cost — agreed up front, never a surprise. Same for any special add-ons like licensed music or permits.

Payment Terms
A 50% deposit holds your shoot date; the balance and license fee are due on delivery (net 15). Your rights switch on the moment the invoice is settled. Plans change — just give us a heads-up more than 72 hours out and rescheduling is easy.

Delivery & Credit
You'll receive finished, color-graded edits, ready to publish. The only ask for the free Social license is a little love back — credit "Markets of Tomorrow ©" or tag @marketsoftomorrow when you post. That's what keeps social free.

Keeping It Consistent
The license is yours to use freely across what it covers. If you'd like to pass it to a new owner, or heavily edit / AI-alter the work so the property looks different, just run it by us first — a quick written OK is all it takes, and we're glad to help.

Peace of Mind
Everything we deliver is original work, made by us. You'll handle property access and any guest / staff releases on site, and we'll handle the craft. Standard liability terms keep both sides protected — nothing surprising.

If Plans Shift
If something isn't working, either side can step back with 10 days' written notice. Weather or events outside anyone's control? We simply reschedule in good faith. Everything here is governed by the laws of Florida.
