A $160 million, two-hotel resort is set to rise in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Behind it: the same team that built Hotel Drover and Mule Alley.
Delightful Development Co. and Woodbine Development Corporation are planning 225 rooms and suites split across two independently positioned luxury hotels above a shared subterranean parking garage. Around them come roughly 30,000 square feet of open greenspace and entertainment area, about 3,000 square feet of retail, and 18,000 square feet of meeting space anchored by a 7,500-square-foot ballroom and a 4,000-square-foot event barn.
The site covers more than three acres in the Stockyards National Historic District, with more than 1,000 feet of Marine Creek frontage immediately behind Mule Alley and Hotel Drover.
Guests step onto a new Marine Creek Promenade with direct access to the low-water crossing at Lonesome Dove and a walkable link straight into Mule Alley, folding the resort into the district's existing flow of restaurants, shops, and honky-tonks. Groundbreaking is planned for fall 2027, with the two hotels targeted to open in spring 2030.
