Amazónico plans its U.S debut with Brickell flagship

A lush wave of rainforest glamour is set to sweep into Miami this September as Amazónico, the Madrid-born dining concept known for its Amazon-inspired interiors and Latin American fusion menu, prepares to open its first U.S. location at 800 Brickell Avenue.
Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife restaurateurs Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, Amazónico has captivated diners in Madrid, London, Dubai, and Monte-Carlo with a sensory-driven experience that blends bold flavors, immersive design, and a soundtrack the brand calls “elec-tropical.” Miami’s outpost will be the largest to date, spanning three stories inside a converted bank building, with a main dining room, a lively lounge featuring DJs and live performances, and a rooftop space designed to shift seamlessly from after-work gatherings to late-night energy. Seating will accommodate more than 1,300 guests per evening.
The interiors, crafted by Spanish designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, will envelop guests in a dense canopy of greenery, natural textures, and tribal-inspired art, evoking the vibrancy of a tropical rainforest. Thomas Lecoq, who has overseen Amazónico openings in London, Dubai, and Monte-Carlo, is relocating to Miami to guide the debut.
This fall, the vibrant financial district will also welcome its first true nightclub — Selva, a high-energy nightlife concept described as “the dark side of the jungle.” Located above Amazónico Miami, Selva is owned and operated by the same team behind the internationally renowned restaurant brand. Known for lush interiors, exotic flavors, and elevated dining, Amazónico brings the Amazon rainforest to life — and Selva promises to channel that same jungle energy into the night.
While details remain limited, Selva’s official website teases a mysterious, immersive atmosphere that blends music, glamour, and tropical edge. Amazónico and Selva will both be located at 800 Brickell Avenue, in the heart of Miami’s urban core.
