Ashwood 12 South, a two-acre mixed-use development, will premiere several first-to-market brands next year, including Birkenstock, Reformation, Roark and Burdlife

Turnbridge Equities, based in New York, is making waves in Nashville's 12South district by bringing several high-profile brands to its Ashwood 12 South development for their first appearances in the market. This nearly 2-acre mixed-use development, situated at 2212 12th Ave. S., is set to enrich the neighborhood with 44,500 square feet of new retail and restaurant space, featuring brands like Birkenstock, Reformation, Roark, and Burdlife.

Mallory Miller, Turnbridge's Director of Marketing, expressed enthusiasm for the blend of established favorites and innovative new tenants, highlighting the development's commitment to delivering a diverse retail experience that aligns with Nashville's distinct vibe. The project, marking Turnbridge's first venture in Nashville, echoes the success of their retail development in Austin, suggesting a promising outlook for Ashwood 12 South.



Ashwood 12 South's completion is anticipated in early 2025, with construction milestones like the recent topping out ceremony indicating progress towards its opening. The development is expected to host a variety of dining options, including the Australian café Two Hands, SunLife Organics, and Sushi-San, alongside the new-to-market retail brands.


The retail and office leasing efforts are managed by Jeremy Zidell of RUE Realty and Elam Freeman of Ojas Partners, with CBRE Nashville's Frank Thomasson and Byran Fort overseeing office space. This development aligns with the ongoing transformation of 12 South into a premier upscale neighborhood, catering to both visitors and locals with its mix of luxury retail, new restaurants, and large-scale real estate projects, further enhancing Nashville's status as a desirable location for national brands.
