Cabot Citrus Farms is doubling down on the full-property experience with the launch of Camp Cabot, a new seasonal package that threads together golf, outdoor sport, and fireside evenings into one tightly curated stay.

Available April 1 through September 30, Camp Cabot transforms the Brooksville destination into a modern take on summer camp — built for golfers who want more than just tee times. The package includes a two-night stay in one of the property’s two- or four-bedroom cottages, two rounds of championship golf (one at Karoo and one at Roost), and a full lineup of outdoor pursuits that extend well beyond the fairways.
Mornings can start with a bass fishing excursion across Florida’s Nature Coast waters, followed by axe throwing and 5-stand clay shooting on the property. Evenings pivot into a relaxed social rhythm with a BBQ dinner, bourbon pours, cigars, and s’mores around the firepit — a natural extension of the same camaraderie that defines the golf experience here.

Starting at $2,500 per person based on quad occupancy in a four-bedroom cottage, Camp Cabot is available for new bookings only and subject to availability.
Set in Brooksville at the heart of Florida’s Nature Coast, Cabot Citrus Farms sits within reach of Withlacoochee State Forest and the region’s spring-fed rivers and lakes. Nearby Crystal River — known as the Manatee Capital of the World — remains one of the only places in the U.S. where visitors can legally swim with manatees in the wild, reinforcing the property’s connection to its surrounding landscape.

Golf anchors the stay. Karoo, designed by Kyle Franz, unfolds across expansive sandy corridors with bold contouring, massive scale, and firm-and-fast playing conditions that reward creativity as much as power. Built on the former Pine Barrens ground, the course embraces width, ground movement, and constantly shifting green complexes that make every angle matter.

Roost offers a deliberate counterpoint. Designed through a collaboration between Mike Nuzzo, Kyle Franz, and Rod Whitman, the 7,200-yard layout moves through moss-draped oaks and sandy expanses with elevation changes of up to 50 feet — rare terrain for Florida. Strategic bunkering and nuanced green shaping place greater emphasis on club selection, trajectory control, and positioning.

Beyond the two headline rounds included in the package, the broader property deepens the experience. The Squeeze, Cabot’s 10-hole short course designed by Mike Nuzzo, blends par 3s, 4s, and 5s into a creative routing built around risk-reward decisions and replayability. The Wedge, the property’s par-3 course, delivers a pure test of precision — and transforms into a night-golf venue under the lights. A two-acre putting course, expansive driving range with advanced ball-tracking technology, and central gathering loop tie all four courses together into one cohesive golf environment.
Camp Cabot then pulls guests into the surrounding landscape. Mornings can begin with a guided bass fishing excursion across the quiet waters of Florida’s Nature Coast. On-property activities include axe throwing and 5-stand clay shooting, reinforcing the sporting-club energy that runs throughout Cabot Citrus Farms. Evenings transition into a BBQ dinner and firepit gathering complete with bourbon, cigars, and s’mores — a natural extension of the same camaraderie that builds during the day.

The stay unfolds from Cabot’s intentionally understated cottages, designed for shared mornings, post-round storytelling, and long, unhurried evenings. Open living spaces, full kitchens, and indoor-outdoor flow allow groups to remain immersed in the sandy, rolling terrain rather than cycling in and out of it like a traditional resort stay.
Dining anchors the social rhythm. Grange Hall operates as the property’s central clubhouse with morning coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a lively communal setting. The Porch delivers wood-fired pizzas and relaxed plates overlooking play across The Wedge and The Squeeze, while additional on-course comfort stations keep energy levels steady without breaking pace.

Starting at $2,500 per person based on quad occupancy in a four-bedroom cottage, Camp Cabot is available for new bookings only and subject to availability.
Camp Cabot doesn’t sit on the sidelines of that vision. It brings the full ecosystem together — championship golf, tactical short-game play, open-air recreation, residential stays, and social dining — into one tightly orchestrated Florida experience.
