Parker Hospitality, based in Chicago, is set to enrich Nashville's music scene with Bond St., a new live music venue in the W Nashville's basement. Spanning 7,700 square feet, this venue draws inspiration from British speakeasies and the iconic rock era of the '50s, '60s, and '70s, aiming to blend London's luxury with the authentic vibe of a classic music venue. CEO Brad Parker envisions Bond St. as a space that evokes nostalgia while offering a diverse music lineup, from R&B to classic rock, set to launch between the end of 2024 and early 2025.
The venue will feature a sunken dance floor, multiple bars, seating, and a private, members-only area catering to locals, with a capacity of around 100 guests. Additionally, a select food menu will include Chicago-style hot dogs, emphasizing the connection to Parker Hospitality's roots. The inception of Bond St. came after Parker's search for an ideal location led him to partner with Xenia Hotels & Resorts Inc., which acquired the W Nashville in 2022 for a record-setting $328.7 million.
Parker believes Bond St. will introduce a sophisticated nightlife option to Nashville, complementing the city's evolving music scene while maintaining its live performance tradition. This effort joins broader initiatives to support Nashville’s live music venues, including an ongoing study to identify and address challenges faced by these establishments. The W Nashville itself, developed by a partnership including Nashville’s Corner Partnership and the Chicago-based Magellan Development Group, continues to attract culinary and entertainment talent, contributing to the city's reputation as a hub for music and culture.
