Originally opened in 1914, the property was built during the Belle Époque, an artistic and architectural era in Europe before World War I. A private jetty connects guests to Saint-Tropez in eight minutes by complimentary boat transfer, with additional access to Pampelonne by sea.

French designer Dorothée Delaye led the interiors, drawing from the Côte d’Azur of the 1950s while preserving the building’s original character. The rooms and suites were individually designed, with 28 sea-facing suites overlooking the gulf and hillview rooms facing the Provençal countryside. More than 300 contemporary artworks are placed throughout the hotel, including sculptures, installations, and rare objects.

COMO Le BeauvallonDining is led by chef Yannick Alléno, one of the world’s most Michelin-starred chefs, who oversees the culinary vision across the hotel. At the center is Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno, his first beach club restaurant, where Southeast Asian influences meet Mediterranean ingredients. Executive Chef Adel Mannai leads the kitchen at Beauvallon Sur Mer, translating Alléno’s vision through a menu shaped by the spirit of the Riviera and broader global influences. The adjacent Beauvallon Sur Mer Lounge and Rooftop serves small plates and cocktails, while Winter Garden serves Mediterranean dishes with Niçoise influences beneath a luminous glass ceiling and the Riviera Terrace serves cocktails and light fare.

Wellness is centered around COMO Shambhala. Derived from the brand’s tradition of expert-led, hands-on healing developed at COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali, treatments include massages and facials alongside daily yoga. Guests also have access to a fully equipped gym, an 82-foot mosaic pool reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and healthy dishes from the COMO Shambhala Kitchen menu served both in-room and at Winter Garden.

Set across a private ten-acre estate of gardens, terraces, palms, and umbrella pines, the grounds extend toward the shoreline. Among the property’s most distinctive features is the 2002 Serpentine Gallery Summer Pavilion by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Toyo Ito, positioned within the gardens near the water.
