Reef Capital Partners has just unveiled its four-season expansion at Cornerstone Club just outside Telluride.
Cornerstone Club sprawls across 4,800 acres of protected high-altitude alpine terrain in Montrose, Colorado. The Reef Capital Partners expansion is one of the firm's most ambitious moves yet, built around one membership that works twelve months a year.

Starting winter 2026, Cornerstone real estate members gain access to Crest Club Telluride, a private alpine retreat inside the Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, adding a full ski season to a membership built around summer golf.
The access arrives as Telluride's private-club market accelerates: Southworth's Alpine Club and a Four Seasons resort arriving in 2027 are both bringing private, four-season models to the market, and Cornerstone's ski perk plugs its members straight into that momentum.
The 18-hole championship course, originally designed by Greg Norman, gets a full renovation led by Matt Dusenberry. Work is scheduled to finish in summer 2027. The scope covers new turfgrass, refined fairways, rebuilt bunkers, and improved cart paths.
Hole 12 becomes a short par-4 that rewards strategic play. Hole 18 turns into a par-5 finisher. Beside that 18th green, a new bar and grill will overlook an expansive putting course, joining the Cap Rock restaurant in the clubhouse and the Elk Shack out on the course.
Eight overnight cabins are coming for weekend golf getaways and longer stays. A new spa and thermal village anchors the wellness program with indoor and outdoor thermal pools, private treatment cabins, couples' experiences, relaxation cabanas, and a coffee and juice bar.
Back at the clubhouse, summer afternoons get a resort-style pool and hot tub, an event lawn sized for family gatherings and club celebrations, and new locker rooms built to serve golfers and pool guests alike.
Cornerstone is also converting its training facilities into a performance center with indoor racquetball and a fitness center. Summers fill with hiking, horseback riding, pickleball, and tennis; winters shift to golf simulators, wellness experiences, and seasonal events, with Crest Club access adding Telluride's slopes to the rotation.
