After ten years of filling rooms in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and Dallas, Delilah is finally coming to New York, and it is going underground to do it: Lady Delilah, a 10,000-square-foot Art Deco supper club beneath West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District, where dinner rolls straight into a night of live entertainment, and the main dining room turns into a dance floor. Reservations are already open for its highly anticipated November 3 debut, which makes it the fifth Delilah and the first New York venue of any kind from The h.wood Group.

h.wood Group, the Los Angeles-based hospitality company founded by John Terzian and Brian Toll, signed a 15-year lease on the West 14th Street space with Tavros Holdings. The room follows Los Angeles, which opened in 2016, and the group describes it as a more refined, mature version of the Delilah concept, built for a dinner that moves into a night out without leaving the room. Reservations are open at ladydelilahnyc.com.
The entrance will be an arched white-tile passage that references New York's historic subway architecture, opening onto 1920s opulence: vintage oak finishes, plush upholstered seating, cascading chandeliers, and tiled barrel ceilings. The first photos of the room show fluted gilded columns, a giant scalloped shell wall behind a Yamaha grand piano, scalloped velvet chairs, and table lamps, all under a gold-tiled barrel ceiling.

Chef Michael Teich, Culinary Director of The h.wood Group, will run the kitchen, as he does at Delilah, The Nice Guy, and The Bird Streets Club, and his menu reinterprets the American bistro, keeping the dishes familiar and leaning on careful technique and quality ingredients. The bar will pour signature craft cocktails and luxury spirits, with high-end bottle service for the tables that stay late. Dinner will come first in the main dining room, the stage will go live every evening, and the room will then turn over into nightlife with a dance floor. The two private dining rooms add a high-profile private dining and buyout option to the city.
"Lady Delilah is ready, and we couldn't be more excited for this new chapter," said co-founders John Terzian and Brian Toll. What a guest will find on Tuesday, November 3, is the white-tile arch off West 14th Street, a gilded main room under a gold-tiled barrel ceiling, Teich's bistro menu with a craft cocktail or a bottle on the table, a stage that goes live every evening, and a dance floor once dinner is cleared.
