JDS Development Group and the renowned luxury fashion label Dolce&Gabbana have revealed additional plans and visuals for their ambitious project: a 90-story condo hotel situated at 888 Brickell. This architectural marvel, standing at 1,049 feet, is poised to become the pinnacle of Miami's skyline, showcasing a sophisticated blend of ivory travertine and matte black steel, accentuated by a striking gold 'necklace' feature at pedestrian level, with Studio Sofield spearheading the architectural vision.
The heart of the building will house a grand lobby, replete with dual bars, and a constellation of six culinary venues. The residential lobby promises an air of exclusivity with its black marble floors and trio of bespoke, handcrafted Venetian chandeliers.
With an offering of 250 rooms and suites, the condo hotel introduces a novel opportunity for unit owners to participate in a hotel rental program, potentially generating income. This flexibility extends to larger units, which can be subdivided into smaller, separate-entry rooms.
The interior design, a collaboration between Dolce&Gabbana and M2Atelier studio, reflects the vision of founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, bringing to life their concept of luxury and craftsmanship at 888 Brickell. While a construction date remains unannounced, progress through planning stages is evident, highlighted by the construction of a sales office nearby.
In a separate announcement, JDS Development Group shared its collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana to brand this iconic Brickell Avenue project. The 888 Brickell by Dolce & Gabbana is set to redefine luxury in Miami, thanks to its strategic location at 888 Brickell Ave., promising unparalleled views and design.
Despite a previous partnership dissolution with Major Food Group in 2022, JDS Development, under Michael Stern's leadership, has revitalized the project with Dolce & Gabbana's exquisite branding. This partnership aims to encapsulate the essence of Italian luxury, complementing Miami's vibrant culture.
The project will feature 250 luxury condo/hotel units, enhanced by a plethora of amenities including a fitness center, golf simulator, and more, ensuring a blend of luxury and lifestyle. Dolce & Gabbana's design philosophy will permeate every aspect of the project, from the lobby's color scheme to the detailed design of the units.
Pricing for these exclusive units ranges from $3.5 million to $35 million, with JDS Development Group securing Highgate for hotel operations. This venture not only signifies a significant upscale development for Miami-Dade County but also capitalizes on the growing luxury condo market, further enriched by strategic branding collaborations.
