Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has just unveiled Kai Holo Spa, the centerpiece of a resort-wide transformation guided by Meyer Davis, the firm also behind the redesign of the property's guest rooms, suites, and Club Floor.

Kai Holo translates to "flowing tide" in Hawaiian, and the name sets the design brief: guests move through an aquathermal circuit, a menu of island-rooted treatments called Pacific Journeys, and a longevity wing built around biomarker testing rather than a single spa day with a massage at the end.

The aquathermal center anchors the space, tracing the water's path from mountain to sea. A sculptural wall of cleft black granite nods to Maui's volcanic origins, while three hydrotherapy pools, a vitality pool, a therapeutic hot pool, and a cold plunge sit alongside a steam room, a sensory shower, and both traditional and infrared saunas, built for contrast therapy rather than a single soak. Lighting runs through the circuit deliberately, calibrated to circadian rhythm rather than ambiance alone.
The Kai Holo Signature Oceanside Ritual opens with a warm black sea-salt foot soak before moving through a resort-harvested honey and sugar polish and a kukui oil massage. The Spirulina & Astaxanthin Ocean Detox Body Ritual uses Hawaiʻi-grown spirulina and a lomi lomi massage with astaxanthin oil, and the Queen's Garden Fern Ritual draws on native fern oil sourced from Kauai, closing with a warm lava mask wrapped in ti leaves.
"Wellness today is deeply personal, and at Kai Holo that means meeting each guest exactly where they are," said Pat Makozak, the resort's Senior Spa Director.

Adjacent to the spa, a redesigned longevity center builds on the resort's Next|Health partnership, running since 2021, now offering biomarker testing, IV therapy, and NAD+ treatments, with a hyperbaric chamber arriving later this summer.
A new fitness center rounds out the wing, outfitted with sandstone-toned Technogym equipment, body composition analysis, and an infrared Movement Studio for yoga, Pilates reformer, and outdoor TRX. Signature retreat programming curated by Makozak is set to debut later this year, extending Kai Holo from a spa into a standing wellness program at one of Wailea's most established resorts.
