A cult-favorite infrared fitness concept is bringing its hot room to Palm Beach County. HOTTR, the infrared-heated functional training studio that built fiercely loyal communities in Darien, Connecticut, has opened its first Florida location in Lake Worth Beach, its debut outside the Northeast, and a move the founders describe as a response to proven demand rather than an experiment.

What sets HOTTR apart from the growing field of heated fitness is that it isn't built around a single modality. It's an infrared-heated functional training system programmed to change daily, so members can train consistently without plateauing. Each week rotates through proprietary formats, high-intensity interval training, strength and tone, low-intensity functional movement, recovery and recharge sessions, and Pilates-inspired training, a structure designed for longevity and consistency that has produced classes routinely carrying waitlists.

Co-founder and creator Monique Crous spent years developing the HOT HIIT method in New York City, opening her first studio in downtown Manhattan in 2013 before the concept evolved into HOTTR, centered on intelligent programming, recovery, and community.
"This is not a concept we are testing," Crous said. "The methodology was intentionally designed so people can come into the hot room every day and experience something entirely different while continuing to build strength, endurance, and recovery."

For co-founder Jennifer Roach, the Palm Beach expansion was a natural next step. "From my very first class, I knew HOTTR was something special," she said. "Three years later, not a day passes that I don't want to be in the hot room." The studio also plans to collaborate with local wellness brands, hotels, and fitness communities through events, partnerships, and pop-ups. HOTTR Lake Worth is now open at 1622 N. Federal Highway, with classes bookable through the HOTTR app.
