Lefferts, a New York-based real estate developer, has received approval for a new 20-story luxury condominium named 72B in Miami Beach. Situated at 600 72nd Street, near Surfside, this project will have 125 residences, alongside ground-floor commercial spaces, primarily for dining and drinking establishments. Arquitectonica is the design architect, and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling sales and marketing.
This is not the first venture for Lefferts in Miami Beach's North Beach neighborhood. They are also working on 72 Park, which recently just topped off construction in September. 72 Park is a 22-story condominium at 580 72nd Street, right across from 72B. 72 Park, a project by Built Form architecture firm, will offer 206 units with sizes ranging from 470 to 1,177 square feet, and prices starting in the $700,000s. The building will also feature Roberta’s, a Michelin Bib Gourmand-rated restaurant.
Regarding 72B, the firm expressed gratitude to the Design Review Board for approving their vision. The 239,424 square-foot tower will enhance the quality of life in North Beach, offering new opportunities for residents.
The development site for 72B, a 0.1-acre plot, was acquired by Lefferts in 2018 for $2.3 million. Groundbreaking is expected in summer 2024, with completion planned for 2027.
These two projects, 72 Park and 72B, are part of four residential developments by Lefferts in the Miami Beach area, reflecting their broader strategy for this neighborhood.
