The Hoxton is officially coming to Nashville, joining the city’s booming luxury hotel market with a new ground-up development in the emerging Pie Town neighborhood. The boutique British brand, part of Ennismore’s global hospitality portfolio, will open its sixth U.S. location—and first in Tennessee—at 616 Ewing Street, with an anticipated debut in 2027.
Designed by Chicago-based GREC Architects in collaboration with Ennismore’s AIME Studios, the new-build property will feature more than 200 guest rooms and a signature mix of food, drink, and lifestyle amenities. Plans call for four distinct dining venues, including a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop integrated into the open-plan lobby, as well as a rooftop poolside restaurant and bar with views over the city. On the lower level, guests will find a speakeasy offering late-night cocktails and curated entertainment.
The hotel will also introduce “The Apartment”—a collection of private rooms centered around a communal kitchen space, tailored for events, meetings, and intimate gatherings. Additional features include a fitness center, events terrace, and underground parking, rounding out the property’s all-day appeal.

The arrival of The Hoxton marks a new milestone for Pie Town, a formerly underdeveloped pocket just south of downtown that has become a magnet for investment. The hotel is being developed in partnership with local investors Bryan Fort and Taylor Preston, who have spent nearly a decade assembling properties across the district. Their broader plans include a retail and restaurant development at 720 Ewing Avenue and a new location for NYC-based Mēdüzā Mediterrania, opening in 2026. In 2023, Fort and Preston also acquired the current site of Nashville’s City Winery, which will relocate ahead of the hotel’s opening.

Known for its layered, residential-style interiors and hyperlocal programming, The Hoxton adapts each property to reflect the character of its neighborhood. In the U.S., the brand currently operates in New York, Chicago, Portland, and Los Angeles, with a second Chicago property also in the pipeline. Globally, The Hoxton’s footprint includes hotels in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Rome—with new openings coming soon in Dublin, Edinburgh, Oslo, and Melbourne.
As Nashville continues to attract top-tier hospitality brands—from the Four Seasons and St. Regis to Ritz-Carlton and Pendry—the launch of The Hoxton in Pie Town reinforces the city’s growing international profile and its evolution into a dynamic, design-forward destination for modern travelers.
