Mimi Yoga & Pilates has opened its third and largest South Florida studio, bringing its infrared-heated classes and unmistakable look to the Aventura area. The new location on West Dixie Highway joins the brand's original Wynwood and Coconut Grove studios, marking the biggest expansion yet for founder Mimi Ghandour, who has built a fiercely loyal following on a mix of heated power flows, distinctive design, and a strong community culture.

The Aventura space is the most refined the brand has built, staying true to a signature aesthetic of blue ombre walls, polished teal concrete floors, illuminated arched mirrors, and the studio's signature rose scent.

The fitness room holds up to 35 clients beneath dramatic illuminated arches, with a full schedule of infrared-heated yoga and Pilates — power flows, vinyasa, restorative yoga, Yogilates, Stretch & Sculpt, Pilates Bootycamp, and traditional mat Pilates — designed for all levels under Ghandour's founding philosophy that yoga is "for the willing, not the flexible." A marble-topped vanity area, two showers, and a retail selection of activewear and wellness brands round out the experience, with free parking in the building's garage.

The new location also carries forward the studio's no-filming policy, which made national headlines when it was announced last fall, protecting the privacy of everyone in the room and keeping class a screen-free hour — students can still grab a photo at the studio's "Just Show Up" sign before and after. Beyond daily classes, Aventura will serve as a hub for Mimi Yoga's teacher trainings, the brand having already graduated more than 550 yoga teachers through its 200-hour Yoga Alliance-accredited program and 250 mat Pilates instructors. Born in Paris, raised in Saudi Arabia, and drawn to yoga after moving to Miami, Ghandour has turned a personal practice into a global community — and South Florida now has one more place to step into it.
