New York City’s private club scene continues to expand with Moss, a five-story members-only destination set to open near Bryant Park this November.

The project comes from Colleen and Hailey Brooks, who describe Moss as a “home away from home” designed to balance the city’s energy with spaces for respite. The club spans 40,000 square feet within 520 Fifth Avenue, blending hospitality, culture, and wellness across multiple levels. Interiors are led by Vicky Charles of Charles & Co., best known for shaping Soho House’s aesthetic during her two decades as design director.

Moss will feature four distinct dining venues, bars, and lounges, including a piano lounge for live performances, a library-inspired bar, and five private dining rooms. A dedicated floor known as the “Symposium” will house cultural and social spaces such as a podcast studio, vinyl listening lounge, games room, and intimate cocktail bar. A chef partner will be announced ahead of the opening.
Wellness is central to the experience, with 20,000 square feet devoted to Bedrock Aquatics & Athletics. Facilities include fitness and Pilates studios, a golf simulator, a pickleball court, thermal pools, hammam, saunas, steam rooms, and a spa offering treatments ranging from massage to IV therapy.

The launch comes amid a broader members-only boom in New York, joining recent openings such as Aman Club, ZZ’s Club, and Maxime’s. With Moss, the Brooks sisters aim to set a new benchmark for private membership in Manhattan, where exclusivity meets culture and wellness at scale.
