A new boutique hotel with deep ties to Nashville’s music history has opened in Hillsboro Village.
The Chloe Nashville is a 19-room property from New Orleans hospitality group LeBlanc + Smith, marking the group’s first hotel in Tennessee and its second Chloe concept following The Chloe in New Orleans. The hotel is located at 1906 Acklen Avenue in one of the city’s most walkable neighborhoods.

The property occupies two restored 1920s Craftsman cottages that previously served as the headquarters for Asylum Records and Spirit Music Group. The site’s musical legacy connects it to artists including Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs. An original engraved brass record-label sign remains on display in the lobby as a subtle reference to the buildings’ recording-industry past.

Much of the original architecture has been preserved, including wood floors, exposed brick, fireplaces, and vintage windows. Interiors were developed by New Orleans designer Sara Ruffin Costello with Nashville-based designer Alyssa Spyridon, blending vintage furnishings with layered textures, velvet drapery, and contemporary artwork from local artists. Works by Chris Coleman are displayed throughout the property, with plans for an artist-in-residence program.

Guest rooms feature vintage furnishings, four-poster beds in select rooms, and soaking tubs in most bathrooms. Each room also includes a Marshall record player, allowing guests to select vinyl from the hotel’s listening library. A subtle coyote motif—including bronze coyote door knockers—appears throughout the property, inspired by a real coyote discovered inside a bathroom at Music City Center that later became part of the hotel’s design narrative.

Food and beverage are central to the concept. The hotel includes an all-day restaurant along with a 10-seat private dining room. The kitchen is led by chef Matt Regan, formerly of Sylvain and Emeril’s, with a menu that blends modern Southern cuisine and Gulf Coast influences.

The property also features three bar spaces: a lobby lounge, a restaurant bar, and a seasonal outdoor pool bar. The beverage program, developed by Jason Sorbet of Barrel Proof Nashville, highlights Tennessee whiskey alongside classic cocktails.

Beyond the indoor spaces, the property includes an outdoor pool and garden area with veranda seating. Programming will include artist residencies, songwriter series, creative workshops, and live music performances.
