Los Cabos is officially going to become home to North America's first Endless Surf wave basin.
Cabo Real Surf Club, a private residential club rising inside the 3,000-acre Cabo Real masterplan between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, is opening later this year with more than $200 million in sales reservations already banked and a members-only surf lagoon at its center.

Endless Surf technology produces hundreds of fully customizable waves every hour, with rides stretching up to 25 seconds and wave heights dialed anywhere up to seven feet, which means a first-timer and a professional can share the same water on the same afternoon.
The controlled repetition is the point: surfers can catch a month's worth of ocean waves in a single day, on demand, with none of the waiting that defines the sport in open water. Pro surfer Erin Brooks, the 2025 Rookie of the Year, bought one of the Surf Casitas.
The community's Robert Trent Jones II-designed championship course is also currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar transformation alongside with a new golf clubhouse, and the athletic program, which will bring a new racquet center with padel, tennis and pickleball, altitude training and performance coaching, and an extensive network of single-track mountain biking and hiking trails threading the Baja landscape.

The wellness spa is being built around steam, saunas, cold plunges and red-light therapy. On the water, a private oceanfront beach club and pool sit on one of Los Cabos' few genuinely swimmable beaches, joined by multiple food and beverage venues.

The developer is Meriwether Companies, whose partners include Michael Schwab, son of Charles Schwab and an early investor in wave-pool technology, working alongside the Sanchez Navarro family, one of Los Cabos' pioneering landowners and the family behind El Dorado Golf & Beach Club and Las Ventanas al Paraíso.

The real estate spans custom Estate Lots, Boardwalk Homesites lining the basin's shore, and ocean-view Villas starting around the $1.5 million mark, while the turnkey Surf Casitas designed by Mexico City firm Sordo Madaleno are fully reserved. Membership is limited to homeowners, which makes the wave a private amenity rather than a ticketed attraction.

Sitting 20 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport with direct flights from most major U.S. cities, Cabo Real Surf Club will officially open late 2026.
