One of the world’s most celebrated cocktail bars has officially landed in the U.S. with the grand opening of Presidente Bar Miami, a transportive, design-driven drinking experience now open in Wynwood. Originally founded in Buenos Aires and ranked #21 on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, Presidente makes its long-anticipated American debut at 146 NW 28th Street—melding cinematic flair, Latin soul, and world-class mixology under one roof.
Led by creative visionary Sebastián “Seba” García and 19-time world flair bartending champion Christian Delpech, the new flagship introduces a fresh chapter for the award-winning brand, bringing handcrafted cocktails, immersive storytelling, and precision hospitality to the heart of Miami’s most artistic neighborhood.
The venue spans two visually distinct rooms: a vibrant 100-seat main bar and the hidden La Biblioteca, a sultry, book-lined speakeasy designed as a tribute to the original Buenos Aires outpost. Throughout, lush textures, gilded finishes, and a sweeping mural by Argentine street artist Martín Ron set the tone for a sensory journey where every pour tells a story.
The cocktail menu, developed by García and executed by Delpech and team, is a bold celebration of Latin American ingredients and technique—featuring signature creations like the Daiquiriña with guajillo–chile de árbol syrup, the mezcal-forward Mezcalicus, and the barrel-aged Un Beso Más.
Spirits lovers will also find a global wine list, rare sakes, and curated international beers—paired with a chef-driven menu by Executive Chef Kevin Acosta that leans into Latin flavors with seasonal Florida twists.
Dishes range from Wagyu sliders and pulpo-topped causas to pink Patagonian risotto and ceviche made with yellowfin tuna and octopus. Even the desserts play with presentation and nostalgia—like the Flanbrûlée de Dulce de Leche and Piña Colada Pavlova.
Step Inside La Biblioteca

Presidente’s most coveted space remains just out of view. Tucked behind velvet curtains, La Biblioteca serves as a dramatic hideaway—where mirrored floors, double-height ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling shelves of rare spirits create a moody retreat for true cocktail connoisseurs. Hand-built in Argentina and inspired by 1930s intellectual salons, the space offers an elevated experience within the already transportive bar, cementing Presidente’s reputation for layered design and detail.

First opened in 2017 inside a historic mansion in Buenos Aires’ Recoleta neighborhood, Presidente quickly rose to global prominence—drawing celebrity guests, earning awards, and expanding to a second location at the San Isidro Racetrack before setting its sights on the U.S. The Miami opening marks the brand’s first American location and its most ambitious evolution to date.

Reservations are available via OpenTable. The bar is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. For more, visit presidentebar.com or follow @presidentebar.miami
