Oscar Piastri wins FORMULA 1® MIAMI GRAND PRIX, presented in Louis Vuitton trophy trunk

In a high-octane display of precision and power, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri clinched victory at the 2025 FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, securing his first win of the season and stepping atop the podium to receive a trophy unlike any other—delivered in a custom Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. The handcrafted trunk, designed exclusively for the Miami Grand Prix, made multiple appearances throughout the day, including on the starting grid, during the national anthem, and at the trophy presentation, blending the thrill of elite motorsport with the artistry of luxury craftsmanship.

This year’s race marked the sixth stop on the Formula 1® calendar and the seventh Trophy Trunk presentation of the 2025 season under Louis Vuitton’s ongoing global partnership with Formula 1®. The Maison’s handcrafted trunk took center stage at key moments throughout race day—from its appearance on the starting grid and national anthem sequence to the final podium ceremony where Piastri received his prize.

The trunk itself was designed not only to protect the Miami Grand Prix trophy, but to elevate it—reflecting the craftsmanship, innovation, and legacy of excellence that defines both Formula 1® and Louis Vuitton. For Miami, the House also introduced a custom-designed Louis Vuitton logo seen throughout the track, featuring speed-blurred effects and vibrant heatwave-inspired graphics that mirrored the pulse of the race itself.
