Rising at 665 Fifth Avenue, the 165,000-square-foot The Rolex Building replaces a 12-story office building the brand has occupied since the 1970s, marking a full-scale reinvestment into one of Manhattan’s most iconic retail corridors. Designed by Sir David Chipperfield, the tower translates Rolex’s design language into architecture, with a façade inspired by the fluted bezel of its watches—bringing a sense of rhythm, precision, and craftsmanship to the skyline.

Chipperfield described the project as an opportunity to embed Rolex’s core principles directly into the building itself, from its structure to its materiality. A custom-engineered concrete core anchors the tower, balancing durability and performance with a refined architectural finish, while construction is being led by Pavarini McGovern.

Inside, the building will house a multi-level flagship retail experience alongside Rolex’s offices, with additional restaurants and event spaces rounding out the program. Angeles Wealth Management has already committed to approximately 8,000 square feet, signaling early tenant momentum ahead of the 2026 debut.
