St. Petersburg’s skyline is entering a new chapter as Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg has officially surpassed $100 million in sales, reaffirming the city’s rise as one of Florida’s most important luxury markets. The momentum comes just months after the debut of its immersive, multimillion-dollar sales gallery and places the 50-story landmark among the fastest-selling condominium developments on Florida’s West Coast, according to Smith & Associates Real Estate.

Backed by a partnership between Property Markets Group, Feldman Equities, City Office REIT, and Hilton, the $500 million tower will introduce the storied Waldorf Astoria brand to Florida’s West Coast for the first time. Planned for 150 2nd Avenue South, the development is designed by CUBE 3 with interiors by BAMO, rising 50 stories above a dramatic cantilevered podium to become St. Petersburg’s tallest building.

Sales began earlier this year with prices starting at $2.5 million, and demand has been immediate. A local business leader set a new benchmark for Tampa Bay real estate by purchasing an 11,000-square-foot, two-story penthouse for $27 million—the most expensive condominium ever sold in the region. The penthouse will include a private rooftop pool and screening lounge, establishing a new standard for ultra-luxury living on the Gulf Coast.

Inside the tower, the Waldorf Astoria brand’s legacy of refinement translates into 163 fully finished residences, each with private entry foyers, expansive terraces, custom Italian kitchens, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, Waterworks fixtures, and panoramic bay-to-skyline views. The Fact Sheet confirms dedicated smart-home technology, built-out closets, freestanding tubs, and curated lighting packages throughout the homes.

A major highlight is the development’s signature amenity collection, set across more than 43,000 square feet. The 20,000-square-foot resort deck on level 18 introduces dual infinity pools—including a 160-foot east-facing lap pool and a sunset pool with dual spas—plus cabanas, lounges, a bar, and an expansive wellness suite with massage rooms, sauna, steam, cold plunge, and a movement studio.

Higher above the city, the Peacock Alley-inspired Sky Lounge crowns the tower with a sunset bar, terraces, and elevated social spaces inspired by one of the brand’s most celebrated traditions.

Additional components—including a curated lobby arrival, signature restaurant, pet spa, kids and teen club, EV charging stations, and more than 73,000 square feet of Class-A office space—will integrate the tower into the fabric of downtown and contribute to St. Petersburg’s ongoing evolution as a premier Gulf Coast destination.

Groundbreaking is expected in 2026, with move-ins anticipated by 2030, marking one of the most ambitious residential developments ever undertaken in the region. With sales velocity accelerating and buyer interest expanding beyond Florida to national markets, Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg is already shaping the future of luxury living on the Gulf Coast.
