The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort is preparing to open its doors this May, marking the brand’s first hotel in the Dominican Republic. Set along the pristine shores of Cap Cana, this debut represents a major addition to Marriott’s global luxury portfolio in the Caribbean, combining thoughtful design with a full spectrum of upscale amenities.

The resort comprises 200 keys, including a mix of spacious suites and swim-out room options. Interiors are crafted with natural materials and neutral tones to reflect the surrounding landscape, while private outdoor areas extend the living space toward the sea. Each accommodation is designed with a residential feel, providing guests with both privacy and comfort.

Dining at the resort spans nine venues. Among them is Nina, the resort’s culinary centerpiece led by Chef Diego Muñoz. Guests can also enjoy beachfront meals at Marola Pool Bar & Grill, refined cocktails at the rooftop bar Cielo Mio, and a selection of premium cigars and rare rums at The Amber Room—a tucked-away lounge designed for quiet evenings. Additional venues include Kawa, a coffee and chocolate shop, Cassava, a Latin American restaurant, and other open-air and poolside concepts, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Beyond its food and beverage options, the resort is home to seven pools, accommodating both adult-only and family-oriented experiences. The world-class St. Regis Spa will offer a full menu of customized treatments and wellness rituals, paired with a modern fitness center for daily movement or private training sessions.

Surrounding the property is the acclaimed Punta Espada Golf Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus and ranked as the number one golf course in the region. With views of limestone cliffs and the Caribbean Sea, the par-72 course stretches over 7,300 yards and offers a world-class experience for players at every level.

Later this year, the St. Regis Cap Cana Residences are expected to launch, giving buyers access to private beachfront living with the full suite of hotel services. Owners will enjoy access to their own dedicated areas along with priority use of resort amenities, blending homeownership with high-end hospitality.
