Equinox is officially opening its first Tennessee club in the Gulch, and it's a 34,000-square-foot flagship across the first three floors of the historic Bill Voorhees Co. Building at 620 Eighth Avenue South, where a restorative contrast therapy suite, a reformer Pilates studio, a full spa, and a members-only lounge are built to hold a member from the first class to happy hour.
The club anchors SomeraRoad's roughly $1 billion Paseo South Gulch and opens in early 2027, as luxury floods the blocks around it.
Equinox operates nearly 100 clubs worldwide, anchored by a 40+ club stronghold across New York and spanning Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and Miami, with international outposts in London, Toronto, and Vancouver.
West Palm Beach marks one of the brand's newest arrivals, and with Nashville next on that map, the Gulch is exactly the kind of neighborhood Equinox builds around.
The South Gulch flagship is one of two Equinox projects landing in Nashville. Farther east in SoBro, the Equinox Hotel Nashville anchors an entirely separate, roughly $1 billion three-tower development at 203 Peabody Street, from the team behind the city's Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, and will carry its own 18,000-square-foot Equinox club and spa for hotel guests and residents.
Inside, members move from unlimited Signature group classes and science-backed personal training to the Reformer Pilates studio, then swing between the cold plunge and the heat of the Restorative Contrast Therapy Suite before The Spa at Equinox closes out the day. The Den, a member lounge and coworking space, gives them a reason to stay long after the last set. A robotic-massage partnership with Aescape has also been reported for the location.
The buzz is already building. A membership showroom is open on Eighth Avenue South, letting prospective members preview the club well ahead of its debut.
Paseo South Gulch is SomeraRoad's mixed-use buildout of the neighborhood's southern edge, a district also set to deliver a Pendry hotel and residences targeting a 2027 opening. Equinox slots in as its wellness anchor.

Construction continues inside the Bill Voorhees Co. Building through 2026, with the club set to open in early 2027. Until then, the showroom on Eighth Avenue South is signing Nashville's first members.
