Auberge is officially about to open its first hotel in Dallas this January as the team behind The Knox, Auberge Collection, unveils that it will welcome its first guests on January 29, 2027, with nightly rates starting at $1,000. The hotel is bringing 140 rooms and suites, 48 private residences, and four new places to eat and drink to the edge of Highland Park, where it is set to anchor a more-than-a-million-square-foot reinvention of Knox Street.

Inside, the 140 rooms and suites carry interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, and they top out at The Manse. The largest suite in the house will come with its own private fitness space, a wellness room, a bar, a media room, and separate living and dining areas. Just behind it on the list is the Promenade Suite, which will open onto a 2,100-square-foot terrace laid out for dining and lounging, with an indoor bar and a large living room inside. Guests settling in for longer will have three apartment-style houses with full kitchens: the two- and three-bedroom Abbott House and Hester House, and the three-bedroom Hyland House. Above the hotel, the 48 private residences, with interiors by Chad Dorsey Design, will range from roughly 2,500 to more than 15,000 square feet, with their own clubroom, bar and lounge, fitness center, indoor pool, and a full-floor spa.

Downstairs, the four places to eat and drink will open on the same day as the hotel. The signature restaurant will serve Americana classics, with the Trophy Room, a private dining room, tucked inside it. An indoor-outdoor salon will handle European-style dining with champagne service, and a speakeasy-style cocktail lounge will take the late hours. The fourth sits out in the pool garden, a poolside restaurant facing the Dallas skyline.

The spa will run under Wellbeing by Auberge, built around the brand's "Joy of Wellbeing" philosophy with skin-health therapies, thermal bathing rituals, and high-performance wellness programming. Events get their own wing. The Colonnade Room ballroom will have floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace, reached through a pre-function space called The Gallery, and the second-floor venues will have a private entrance of their own. One floor up, the Knox Parlour Rooms will take the smaller gatherings: the Waldon Room, the Margay and Barlow meeting rooms with their terraces, and the Kestrel Room under tented ceilings.

Outside, the 3.5-mile Katy Trail, laid along the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad line, runs past the four-acre site with direct access from the property. Knox Street's tree-lined blocks of boutiques, restaurants, and nightlife begin steps away, with Highland Park on the other side. The hotel is the centerpiece of the Knox Street development from Trammell Crow Company, MSD Partners, Highland Park Village Associates, and The Retail Connection, designed by Woods Bagot and financed with $619 million in late 2023. It also lands as Dallas fills out a hotel-and-residences tier of its own, with Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Dallas at Turtle Creek rising now and set to deliver in October 2027, and Rosewood Residences Turtle Creek now open.

Auberge Collection, which now counts 39 properties and is owned by The Friedkin Group of Houston, will operate the hotel. Bookings are open now by phone at 754.900.4067 or through Auberge. Sabrina Gleizer of BDT & MSD Partners described the goal as "a place that feels distinctly Dallas." The first test of that comes January 29.
