The London, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has made its debut in Midtown, restoring a name the landmark tower carried years ago. Once known as The London NYC, the property reclaims the identity that first established it as one of the city's recognized luxury addresses.

Rising 54 stories at 151 West 54th Street, steps from Central Park, Carnegie Hall and the Broadway theaters, the hotel holds 562 all-suite accommodations, among the largest suite counts in Midtown. The interiors were led by design firm Stonehill Taylor, with each suite spanning up to 2,700 square feet. Inside, a residential feel carries through, with a separate living room, oversized layout and a bathroom that reads more like an apartment than a hotel room.

A signature Daily Epicurean Moment draws on the idea of the London hour, the unhurried pause between the working day and the evening. Artisanal cheeses from Murray's Cheese, the New York institution, are paired with wines from regional vintners and served as an expression of place.

Dining centers on Dabble, the lobby-level restaurant. The property also holds 4,735 square feet of meeting and event space across eight rooms and a 24-hour fitness center.
