The groundbreaking ceremony for Pendry Tampa and Pendry Residences Tampa, a new 39-story luxury development, recently took place at 103 Ashley Drive South in Downtown Tampa. This project, a collaboration between Two Roads Development and Montage Hotels & Resorts, is set to elevate Tampa's Riverwalk area. Designed by Arquitectonica and constructed by Coastal Construction, the development is expected to be completed in 2026. It will feature 220 hotel guestrooms and 207 branded residences, promising to be a luxurious addition to Tampa’s skyline.

Pendry Tampa will offer an array of high-end amenities, including three signature dining and beverage venues, a 20,000-square-foot Spa Pendry, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. The development will also boast leisure facilities like a rooftop pool and a 12th-floor open-air pool with terrace, offering panoramic city views. Family-friendly amenities, such as the Paintbox Kids Club, and 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space, cater to both leisure and business needs.
Michael Fuerstman, co-founder of Pendry Hotels & Resorts, notes that Pendry Tampa will match Tampa's growing status as a hub for entertainment and business. Reid Boren, managing partner at Two Roads Development, highlights the significance of this construction phase and the role of such luxury developments in enhancing living standards.
Pendry Residences will offer a range of living options, including several penthouses, with exclusive amenities like a private residential entrance, lobby, elevator, and rooftop pool, alongside access to all hotel services. Pendry Tampa is the latest addition to Pendry’s portfolio, joining locations in cities like San Diego, Baltimore, and Chicago, and represents a vital step in the transformation of Tampa’s urban landscape, particularly in the Riverwalk area.
