St. Petersburg’s skyline is entering a new era as 400 Central, the city’s landmark 46-story tower by Red Apple Real Estate, nears completion. Rising 515 feet above Central Avenue, the Arquitectonica-designed tower is now the tallest residential building on Florida’s Gulf Coast — and one of the most anticipated addresses in the state.
This fall, 400 Central reached major vertical milestones, transforming from a construction site into a defining feature of the downtown skyline. With construction moving swiftly toward completion, only a limited collection of residences remain — and for those who act quickly, move-ins are expected to begin this year.
The tower will feature 301 luxury condominium residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, along with a limited number of penthouse homes showcasing panoramic views of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Each residence has been designed with expansive glass walls, open-concept layouts, and private terraces to take in the city’s skyline and waterfront vistas.
Amenities are equally elevated. Residents will enjoy access to a rooftop observatory on the 46th floor—the highest viewing point on the west coast of Florida—plus a resort-style pool deck, fitness and wellness center, private clubrooms, and full-service concierge. Ground-level retail and dining will further energize the surrounding streetscape, creating a seamless connection between luxury living and St. Petersburg’s vibrant downtown life.

Among the first tenants to open will be Volta Wine Market, a refined concept curated by a Michelin-starred sommelier. The boutique market will feature a global wine selection alongside elevated everyday offerings, bringing a touch of culinary sophistication to the heart of Central Avenue.

With its prime location at Central Avenue and 4th Street, 400 Central places residents within steps of the city’s cultural institutions, restaurants, and waterfront parks. As move-ins approach and inventory tightens, this is the final opportunity to secure a home in what is soon to become one of Florida’s most recognizable residential towers.
Move in this year—limited residences remain at 400 Central, St. Petersburg’s new icon of luxury living.
