Thon Hotel Vasa has opened in central Stockholm, set in an elegant building on Vasagatan that dates to the late 1800s and has housed hotel operations since 1907. A recent renovation has updated the seven-floor property while retaining its original architectural details.

Many of the building's classic features have been retained, including its large windows, restored stucco on the walls and ceilings, and an old stairwell lift that has been renovated. The hotel sits in the heart of the city center, within walking distance of Stockholm's central transit hub for train, metro and bus connections, and close to the main shopping district, the Vasa Museum, Gamla Stan and Djurgården.

The hotel has 144 rooms across seven categories, from single rooms to junior suites. Each offers Jensen beds, fine linens and duvets, blackout curtains and soundproof windows, alongside advanced ventilation, an in-room audio system and a stocked minibar.

Thon Hotel Vasa has its own brasserie restaurant and cocktail bar, open to both guests and locals for breakfast, dinner and evening drinks. The breakfast offering, served à la carte and as a buffet, centers on sustainable products. The hotel also has a modern gym that accommodates up to 25 people, with a minimum age of 15.
