ULTRA Club Midtown unveiled, the largest Padel club in the U.S.

The largest padel club is coming to Miami —11 courts are rising on a long-vacant five-acre site that is now transforming into a $2 billion urban connector between Midtown, Wynwood, and the Design District.

ULTRA Club Midtown arrives as a 2-acre pop-up preceding the permanent facility at Midtown Park, where Rosso Development and Midtown Development are orchestrating one of Miami's most ambitious mixed-use projects. The temporary complex includes 11 outdoor courts plus three children's courts, setting the stage for what will become an 8-court permanent racquet and padel club anchoring the development's recreational offerings.

The broader masterplan introduces 120,000 square feet of retail, dining, and collaborative workspaces alongside two public parks and landscaped paseos designed to create walkable links between Miami's cultural neighborhoods. At its heart rises the 28-story Midtown Park Residences by Proper, marking the hospitality brand's Florida debut with 288 homes ranging from 510-square-foot studios to 3,150-square-foot penthouses featuring 20-foot corner living spaces, rooftop gardens, and private pools.

Arquitectonica shapes the tower's architecture while Meyer Davis Studio interprets Proper's West Coast aesthetic through a Miami lens, incorporating 10-foot ceilings, wraparound terraces, Italian cabinetry, and spa-style primary suites with double showers and Jade ceramic walls. Naturalficial handles the landscape design across 40,000 square feet of amenities including a tropical pool deck with signature restaurant, spa facilities, Pilates studio, meditation garden, private pickleball court, virtual golf simulator, and vegetable garden.

"We're creating vibrant, healthy, activated public spaces," notes Carlos Rosso, whose development team is positioning the project as an urban reconnection point. ULTRA Padel CEO Guillermo Barragan describes the facility as "a world-class social hub" designed for players at every level, while operations head Nico Clerc calls it "the social country club of the neighborhood."

The pop-up courts will feature food and beverage programming, community events, and coaching clinics. Fortune Development Sales is handling residential sales from the low $700,000s to $2.7 million, with completion targeted for 2028. A dedicated Culture Concierge team will provide services from housekeeping to curated events, including exclusive access to Proper's portfolio properties like the upcoming Shelborne Hotel relaunch on Miami Beach's Millionaires' Row.
