Cabot Wilds is a 2,500-acre resort destination in Collingwood Corner, Nova Scotia, set along the River Philip in the foothills of the Cobequid Mountains just outside Oxford in Cumberland County, roughly 90 minutes from Halifax Stanfield International Airport and three hours by car from Cabot Cape Breton. Developed in partnership with Canadian businessman John Bragg and his family, the resort is Cabot's second Nova Scotia property and its first on the mainland, carrying forward the earlier River Philip Golf Resort plan under the Cabot banner. The 18-hole golf course, designed by Canadian architect Jeff Mingay, travels through rolling terrain, forests and wild blueberry fields on former farm and mining land, with the River Philip incorporated throughout the routing, crossing the river by footbridge from the fourth tee before crossing back on the eighth hole. Wide playing corridors, natural contours, strategic angles and expressive greens keep the course walkable and approachable for golfers of varying abilities, alongside a driving range. The resort program includes a clubhouse, dining, a recreation pavilion, racquet sports facilities and cottage real estate in two-, four- and eight-bedroom layouts plus golf, hillside and river-view homesites, with plans for a future lodge adding guest rooms and additional amenities. A curated slate of outdoor experiences, from fishing and mountain biking to snow sports, is planned to extend the resort's appeal beyond the golf season.
Two-, four- and eight-bedroom cottages plus golf-, hillside- and river-view homesites go to market as the Jeff Mingay course heads toward preview play.
