About the project

Central Waterfront Park is a proposed downtown green space along Flagler Drive on the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach, Florida, funded by a $30 million commitment from Stephen Ross's Related Ross with no attached development rights. The concept reimagines more than twelve acres of the city's central waterfront by rerouting Flagler Drive westward to knit the shoreline into a continuous lawn stretching from Fern Street to Clematis Street. Planned amenities include two expansive open lawns, a dog park, sand volleyball courts, and a rebuilt waterfront amphitheater, all remaining fully city-controlled public space at the heart of downtown West Palm Beach.
