Chengdu Greenland Tower

Chengdu Greenland Tower is a 468-meter, 101-story supertall rising in Chengdu's Chenghua District, designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture with structural engineering by Thornton Tomasetti for developer Greenland Group. Tapering to a slender crown, the tower gathers roughly 300,000 square meters of program into a single vertical landmark, pairing about 120,000 square meters of Class-A office space with a 51,000-square-meter luxury hotel and sky-high observation levels. Conceived as the centerpiece of a regenerating district in eastern Chengdu, it is positioned to claim the title of tallest building in southwestern China and to serve as a defining silhouette on the Sichuan capital's skyline.
