Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari

Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari is the brand's first South African resort, combining a beach resort on a 32-hectare Indian Ocean site at Tinley Manor on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, about 30 minutes from King Shaka International Airport, with Vikela Safari Lodge inside a private 18,000-hectare Big Five reserve. The beach resort has more than 400 rooms, suites and villas, four pools, family and adults-only zones and South Africa's first Club Med surf school. Developed by Tinley Leisure (shareholders include the IDC, African Bank and local consortia) for over R2 billion, it was officially inaugurated on September 17, 2026, with President Cyril Ramaphosa describing it as the largest hospitality investment in the region since Sun City.
