Designed by landscape architecture firm OLIN with Chen Moore and Associates, the reimagined civic park weaves art, ecology and community life along the water's edge, using living shoreline strategies for resilience. The park anchors the Currie Corridor on the northern edge of downtown with a waterfront promenade, an events pavilion, a fishing pier, a playground and splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, a relocated historic gazebo overlooking the central green, and a Breakwater Hospitality-led waterfront restaurant.
