Forge Atlanta is a planned $3.7 billion mixed-use district on roughly ten underused acres at Ted Turner Drive and Whitehall Street, just north of Interstate 20 on the southern edge of downtown Atlanta. Led by Webstar Technology Group through its Forge Atlanta Asset Management subsidiary, the more than 8.4-million-square-foot program would rank as the largest mixed-use development in the city, with Nelson Worldwide, the practice behind The Battery Atlanta and Buckhead's St. Regis hotel, leading design, Turner & Townsend handling development management and Kimley-Horn serving as lead engineer. The opening phase pairs a 300-room hotel with 600 luxury condominiums and roughly 60,500 square feet of retail and entertainment space. Its position beside Centennial Yards and within walking distance of Mercedes-Benz Stadium places it in the middle of downtown's most concentrated stretch of new investment.
