The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Okinawa is an expansive oceanfront luxury destination taking shape along the celebrated coastline of Onna Village on Japan's subtropical island of Okinawa. Developed by Malaysia's Berjaya Land in partnership with Four Seasons and designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates with landscape architecture by EDSA, the resort spreads across a site of more than 130,000 square meters facing the East China Sea. The program pairs roughly 127 guest rooms with about 124 branded condominium residences and 28 private villas, many featuring their own onsen baths and plunge pools, set amid lush gardens that step down toward white-sand beaches and clear turquoise water. Drawing on Kuma's signature use of natural materials and layered, landscape-attuned architecture, the resort is conceived as a wellness-oriented retreat blending Okinawan craft, indoor-outdoor living and panoramic ocean views, delivering Four Seasons service in one of Asia's most coveted island settings.
