Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia is the brand's first property in the Dominican Republic, set on a 60-acre beachfront site along Playa Esmeralda on the southern shores of Samaná Bay in the country's lush northeast, with 25 residences and 95 hotel keys, under way since September 2023 and set to finish in 2027. Financed with $134.6M from IDB Invest in November 2023.

Three- to four-bedroom residences. Beachfront, with direct beach access. A Four Seasons hotel with 21 suites and 8 restaurants and bars. Developed by Cisneros Real Estate as part of the family's long-envisioned Tropicalia community, the resort features tropical-modernist architecture by acclaimed Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld, with 95 guest rooms and suites and 25 private residences of three and four bedrooms, all stepping toward the sand. Conceived around sustainability and a light environmental footprint, the low-slung, nature-led design pairs Four Seasons service with a protected stretch of Caribbean coastline, positioning the resort as a flagship for sophisticated, regenerative luxury travel in the region.
