Four Seasons Resort Tangier

Four Seasons Resort Tangier will be the brand's fourth address in Morocco, after Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat, set on a terraced clifftop at Cap Malabata where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, beside the historic Malabata lighthouse and looking across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. Designed by Arjitec with interiors by Goddard Littlefair, the resort steps down the slope in low, white-walled pavilions and villas wrapped in Mediterranean planting, with 99 rooms and suites including 27 standalone villas, many with private plunge pools, and more than 260 metres of waterfront. Plans call for a large infinity pool and waterfront lounging, four signature restaurants mixing Moroccan and international cooking, a full-service spa and fitness centre, the Kids For All Seasons program, and indoor and outdoor event spaces. It anchors Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a GFH-backed, roughly 1.1-million-square-metre coastal master plan with luxury villas, apartments, beach clubs and room for four hotels, about 15 minutes from Tangier's high-speed rail station and 45 minutes from Ibn Battouta Airport.
