About the project

The Good Samaritan Medical District is a transformative waterfront redevelopment planned for the roughly 27-acre Good Samaritan Hospital campus along North Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. Master-planned by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) for developer Easton Street Capital — an entity formed by principals of the Palm Beach-based Frisbie Group — in collaboration with hospital operator Tenet Healthcare's Palm Beach Health Network, the multibillion-dollar 'health-centered urban community' would replace the century-old hospital with a new, taller 225-bed medical center flanked by two 25-story luxury condominium towers, workforce housing for healthcare staff, a hotel, retail and dining, and a wellness-focused longevity center. Set on the Intracoastal Waterway, the district is envisioned as one of the largest and most ambitious mixed-use redevelopments in West Palm Beach history, fusing advanced healthcare with resort-style residential living.
