Grand Bohemian Casa Monica is a 137-room hotel at 95 Cordova Street in the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida, open since November 2026.
Built in 1888 to a design by Boston architect Franklin W. Smith in the Spanish and Moorish Revival style, it was bought by Henry Flagler and renamed the Cordova Hotel, later served for decades as a county courthouse, and was restored in the 1990s by Richard C. Kessler, who revived the Casa Monica name. In 2010 it became the first hotel in Marriott's Autograph Collection. On November 6, 2026, The Kessler Collection reintroduced it under its Grand Bohemian brand after refreshing the guest rooms and public spaces with Morocco- and Southern Spain-inspired interiors by the Kessler Collection Design Studio led by Diana Kessler, including sculptural headboards, embroidered sheers, custom carpets and handcrafted Moroccan tile, 14 commissioned works by Jean-Claude Roy and gold-leaf artistry. Amenities include the redesigned Soltana Pool Lounge with an emerald Zellige-tiled bar, the Soltana Pavilion event space, The Spa at Grand Bohemian, Cordova Coastal Chophouse & Bar and a Grand Bohemian Art Gallery.
