King Salman International Airport

King Salman International Airport is a 57-square-kilometre mega-airport under development north of Riyadh, master-planned by Foster + Partners as one of the world's largest aviation hubs. Designed around six parallel runways and a network of terminals anchoring the existing King Khalid International Airport, it targets capacity for up to 100 million passengers and two million tonnes of cargo annually. The scheme integrates 12 square kilometres of residential, retail, and recreational facilities alongside a third 4,200-metre runway being delivered by FCC Construcción and Al-Mabani. A cornerstone of Saudi Vision 2030, the airport is set to transform Riyadh into a global logistics and travel gateway.
