The story so far

Designed by 2017 Pritzker Prize winners RCR Arquitectes with Paris firm CALQ, the copper-toned building holds about 5,000 square meters, including roughly 2,500 square meters of exhibition space and a pillar-free main hall over 1,000 square meters and 14 meters high. It is backed by Groupe Emerige and run by an association chaired by Emerige founder Laurent Dumas, as part of the Pointe des Arts cultural district, which also includes a cinema and a hotel. Its first exhibition, Moteur Imaginaire, is curated by Cecilia Alemani.
