Legends Tower is the audacious centerpiece of the Boardwalk at Bricktown, an attempt to plant the tallest building in the United States and the Western Hemisphere in downtown Oklahoma City. Its 1,907-foot height is a deliberate nod to Oklahoma's 1907 statehood, and its slim, tapering AO-designed form would rank it among the ten tallest buildings on Earth. The program is emphatically mixed-use — a Hyatt hotel, roughly 1,776 apartments, and about 110,000 square feet of retail and dining — crowned by an upper-level restaurant and observation deck marketed as a regional destination. Surrounding it, three shorter towers and a boardwalk of shops and entertainment complete a walkable district. Ambitious and much-debated, it aims to redraw the skyline of a mid-size American city with a single record-seeking spire.
