The story so far

Mandarin Oriental, Setouchi at Takamatsu is a 92-key waterfront resort on the Sunport harbour front of Takamatsu, the Kagawa Prefecture capital and gateway to the Seto Inland Sea, a 13-story tower that broke ground in July 2024 and is set to finish in Spring 2028.

The group's Japanese address pairs panoramic water views with destination restaurants and bars and a full spa and wellness offering, positioned steps from Takamatsu Station for island-hopping across Setouchi. It anchors a trio of Mandarin Oriental resorts linked by a private yacht cruise between the islands.
