Miakka Golf Club

Miakka Golf Club is an exclusive private club set across roughly 1,100 acres of Old Florida ranchland along the banks of the Myakka River, about 30 miles east of Sarasota. The club centers on a championship course and a companion short course designed by Dana Fry and Jason Straka in collaboration with Paul Azinger, routed across sandy, native terrain framed by oak hammocks and palmetto. Conceived as a low-key, golf-first retreat, it pairs the courses with practice facilities and a relaxed clubhouse experience deep in the rural landscape east of Florida's Gulf Coast.
