Designed by Populous, the ballpark sits beside Union Station and Washington Square Park, knitting the venue into a walkable downtown neighborhood of housing, retail, and public space. The project resolves a multi-year, multi-site search that had weighed the Crossroads, a Kansas relocation, and suburban Overland Park before landing on the Crown Center district.
