NUMAJ is a 250-room Autograph Collection hotel being built by AlUla Development Company in the centre of AlUla, beside the AlUla Museum and facing the farmers market. GioForma, the studio behind the mirrored Maraya concert hall, designed it with deep, rust-toned canopies and shaded courtyards that blend inside and outside space against the sandstone cliffs, drawing on mashrabiya screens, rock engravings and the region's tradition of navigating by the stars. Plans include five dining venues, a spa using regional treatments, pools set among desert planting, a fitness centre, event space and areas for storytelling and art programmes. The hotel targets LEED Gold with water-efficient landscaping, greywater reuse and low-impact lighting under AlUla's dark-sky policy.
