Ofland Smoky Mountains is a 75-cabin outdoor hotel on a 27-acre site in Townsend, Tennessee, the quiet western gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, about five minutes from the Cades Cove entrance, under way since September 2026 and set to finish in Summer 2027.
The largest investment yet for Ofland Hotels, the property is designed by architecture studio Boundary Works, with studio-style modular cabins built by Tennessee manufacturer Wind River Built and construction managed by KDW. Each cabin has a queen bed and sofa bed, kitchenette, en-suite bath, private open-air shower, wraparound deck with rocking chairs and its own campfire ring with grill. A central lodge holds the front desk, general store and a counter serving Southern-inspired breakfast and dinner, alongside a heated pool, hot tub, fire pits, campfire chef kits and a drive-in movie theater with vintage trucks and seating for 150.
