Purebred Farm is a new 14-hole course taking shape at Destination Kohler in Wisconsin, set just west of the famed Blackwolf Run layout. Designed by King Collins Dormer and stretching roughly 4,900 yards, the course threads across a varied canvas of prairie, working farmland, and river-valley terrain, with tees, fairways, and greens routed to follow the land's natural contours. Conceived in a minimalist, environmentally conscious style, the design favors strategy, shot-making, and aesthetics over sheer length, offering a walkable, characterful counterpoint to Kohler's celebrated Pete Dye courses at Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run. The addition deepens one of America's premier golf destinations with a distinctive, approachable layout that sits between a short course and a full championship test.
